The hob with the HoriZone zone can be adjusted according to the user's needs. The HoriZone cooktop offers a customizable cooking zone that can be used as one large cookware as well as several small cookware separately. You can also choose: either 1 setting for the entire zone or 2 different settings to control two separate zones separately. The HoriZone zone provides up to 20% extra space compared to any standard hob. All this thanks to the fact that, while the same large part of a normal cooktop consists of 2 inductors, the HoriZone zone of the De Dietrich cooktop consists of 6 inductors. Thanks to more inductors, the area can cover a much larger surface to be used for cooking.
4 preset power levels including Boost. The boost function allows instant switching to maximum power, 3 shortcuts are pre-programmed for different powers and can be reprogrammed to the setting that is used the most. Shortcuts: keeping warm, slow cooking and quick browning.
6 functions have been created for more convenient use of the hob: Boil, Elapsed time, Recall, ICS, Switch, Clean Lock.
The Boil function allows the hob to automatically determine the power required to bring the amount of water you select to the boiling temperature and boil the water for the specified time. When the water starts to boil, an acoustic signal sounds, after which it is the right time to add pasta, rice, etc. to the water. By default, the function is set to a water quantity of 2 L and a cooking time of 8 min.
Elapsed time - the elapsed time function displays on the screen how much time has passed since the last setting of the power level. A great feature for monitoring the cooking process if you've forgotten to set the timer.
Recall function - withdrawal function. In the event of a planned or unplanned short-term interruption of cooking, pressing the Recall button allows you to restore the last selected power and timer settings.
The ICS function optimizes the selection of the cooking zone according to the diameter of the pan being used, ensuring maximum efficiency.
The Switch function allows you to move the container from one cooking zone to another during cooking with pre-set cooking parameters (power level and time). The plate detects the new position of the dish and cooking continues with the original settings in the new zone.
The Clean Lock function allows you to lock the control panel while the plate is being cleaned. After one minute, the lock is automatically deactivated.
10 safety elements: automatic overflow protection, ignition protection, child lock, residual heat indicator, automatic stop system,
dish detection, small object detection, over and under voltage detection, wrong connection detection.
Cooking zones: HoriZone 40 x 23 cm/ 3700 W, middle 28 cm/ 3700 W and left 16 cm/ 2400 W.
The timer is separate for each zone and can be set between 1-99 minutes.
